Pieces

  • Player
  • Exalted
  • Uranium
  • Boat
  • Terrain
  • Reactor
  • Inventory
  • Dome

Setup

1.

Place your boat on an ocean corner.

2.

Each player starts with 5 player marbles in their inventory.

Place your exalted marble under your protection dome.

3.

The player who rolls the highest result starts.

Play continues to the left, one player at a time.

Elimination

If a player has no more marbles, they are eliminated.

Victory

Be the last player with at least one player marble still in play.

On your turn

4.

Roll your two dice.

The higher number is your move count.

Roll doubles and you play again.

If one die shows a 1, use the other die as your move count instead of the higher roll.

Moves

Moves

Add a player marble

5.

Place a player marble on your boat.

If another is already there, it is pushed into the ocean and eliminated.

Move your marble

6.

Move your marble.

You may pass through the same space multiple times in a single turn.

You can get out and into your boat at any time.

7.

You can have as many player marbles in play as you want.

Move them separately.

Build terrain

8.

Build terrain around your player marble.

9.

A stack can reach 3 tiles high.

You can only place your reactor on a 2-tile stack or above.

10.

You may only add a new level to a stack if all 6 surrounding spaces already have terrain.

11.

Keep an ocean border around the board so boats can sail.

12.

Never trap a boat.

It must always have a path of water to the edge of the board.

Push another player

13.

Move into an opponent's marble to push it one space in the same direction.

Each of your marbles can push a given opposing marble only once per turn, but your other marbles can still push it.

You can't push a marble on a boat or a reactor.

A marble pushed into the ocean is eliminated.

14.

If a pushed player marble would land on another player marble, that marble is pushed too, in the same direction.

This can chain.

Place your reactor

15.

Place your reactor on a 2-tile stack.

Choose its spot carefully: once built, your reactor cannot be moved.

Generate uranium

16.

If one die shows a 1, place a uranium marble on every reactor on the board.

Both effects apply: you generate uranium and you use the other die as your move count.

Collect uranium

17.

Walk onto a uranium marble on a reactor to collect it into your inventory.

You can't end your turn on a reactor (except as your exalted marble).

You would overheat and lose this player marble.

Exalt your player marble

18.

When you collect your 3rd uranium marble on your turn, swap one of your player marbles for your exalted marble immediately and discard the uranium.

It's now your exalted player marble.

It can't be pushed or crushed.

19.

Exception: your exalted marble can end its turn on your reactor without overheating.

Crush a player

20.

If your exalted marble is on your reactor when you roll the dice, it must jump from the reactor.

If you jump with your exalted marble from your reactor, the jump distance is always the higher of your two dice, even if a 1 triggered uranium generation.

21.

Crush an opponent's marble to eliminate it.

Your exalted marble returns to normal after landing.

22.

If you land on terrain, it is destroyed.

If you land on a protection dome, it returns to its owner's inventory.

If you land on the ocean, return your exalted marble to your inventory.

Use a protection dome

23.

A protection dome blocks crushing and pushing.

Pay 1 uranium at the start of your turn to activate it, then place it on your player marble.

Each following turn, pay 1 uranium to stay protected, or return the protection dome to your inventory.

Activating your protection dome doesn't cost a move.
